If you’re gonna ‘hustle’, here’s my advice
I spent 2.5 years building my business and brand with my sole focus on hustle. It’s almost as though ‘hustling’ is a glamorous and necessary part of building one’s business.
If you’re not hustling, then you’re not actualising your full potential.
I spent sleepless nights trying to keep up, dream up new programs/strategies/methods, and hours on the road away from my young daughter and husband.
The endless hustle.
You have to do it.
If you don’t then your opportunity will slip through your fingers.
It’s an addiction. When it’s totally off-kilter I think it fries more dreams, families and souls then people want to admit to. After 2.5 years of hustling, getting awards, accolades and notoriety I wanted to quit. I wanted to throw ALL of it away. I got really really tired.
I still didn’t understand the solution, but more clearly then ever, I understood the problem; hustling that had so deeply compromised my heart was an effort to outrun the emptiness and deep insecurity inside of me.

So what if we stopped hustling and instead got ourselves into flow?
When we are in flow we are aligned.
We are connected to something which nourishes us.
We are not growing and building or living out of fear, comparison or scarcity.
We find peace in our business, seasons of focus and work. But the ultimate outcome is joy, fulfilment and passion.
We don’t ask the question enough and ACTION on it.
So many of us are too afraid that if we change the narrative of how we grow our businesses, from hustling to the idea of FLOW, that we will miss out on the golden opportunity. That if we don’t ‘sacrifice now to gain freedom later’ that we won’t ever have the illusive freedom that is promised, idolised and sent out like badges of honor.
I want you to know something, that you can build a business out of alignment, purpose, flow, rest, and sustainability.
So, if you feel like you’re in the place of hustle — ask yourself how you can turn up the dial of flow.
