When I found out that we would be eligible for an amazing Alaskan Cruise, for myself & my Husband, I could see the dreams we had come to fruition. It was a culminate of hard work, vision, intention, fostering a sense of adventure and commitment to alignment in my life.
As I sat on the cruise, away from wifi (woohoo!) for the first time in over 3 years, I reflected back on how much our lives have changed since we’ve first met. But more importantly, how much my life has changed since I decided to take control of my life and most importantly my mind.
Part of this change is REALISING that you have CONTROL over your life.
You can choose how you align your life.
You can choose how and who has control of it.
Someone said to me on the cruise “how are you looking so good and so at peace?”
My response: I have chosen to align my life and take full responsibility for how I want to create it.
How to Add Adventure & Alignment In Your Life
1. Take FULL responsibility of your life
What I mean by this, is that YOU have to choose to take full responsibility for how you live your life, how you react to your life and the choices that you make. There’s no more ‘passing the buck’ to anyone in your life (past, present or future). Stuff happens, but how you react to it, is totally your choice. How you let it affect you is totally your choice. When people don’t meet your expectations and the reaction you choose to engage in, is totally your choice.
2. Decide to be bold with what you want
Ask, seek, find, decide.
We often live lives where we are afraid of asking for what we want. We’re terrified deeply of the perception of fear that we stay where we are, instead of calling in the ideal life that we want. Be this business or personal (or both) we remain stagnant instead of moving forward.
Hand held high – is get this. Playing small. Sometimes it’s needed, oftentimes it’s because we aren’t able to full grasp our divine brilliance.
Go there. Dream big. Call it in. You are worthy of receiving.
3. How is it gonna feel?
One of my most favourite things I ask myself and leaders is: “how do you want this journey to feel?”
I have been telling myself for a long time that my business can’t grow any more because it will be too: exhausting, tiring, arduous, complicated, messy, trying.
And you know what? My business hasn’t up-levelled, because of the script that I was telling myself (and because of #2 above).
So ask yourself:
“how do I want my life to feel?”
“how do I want to embody the fullness of the next journey in my life?”
“in what ways can I take full responsibility for my life and what I choose to create?”
“When I get there, how do I want to feel?”
So holdfast to those wild dreams, we may not know how they are going to come forth, but when we give them wild intention we get wild results.
