Episode 34: ‘Mental Health Crisis as a New Mom & Helping Others’ – Hannah Hardy-Jones
We talk about it all.
Hannah’s journey with a post-partum Bipolar diagnosis after her daughter was born, her recovery, and why she has developed the worlds first Professional Development Ap for moms.
You’re sitting at home with a new kiddo / baby — craving some stimulation for your mind.
Maybe you have had a career before, and you’re missing the development that came with that space in your life.
Maybe you’re wanting to better understand what your life looks like now that you’ve had kids.
Maybe you’re over talking about ‘mothers groups’ banter, and want something a bit richer!
Hannah Hardy-Jones is the founder of the ‘Kite Program’ – the worlds first personal development designed specifically for mums.
The Kite App has been developed to provide practical and accessible tools and resources to help mums with the everyday challenges they face. Why shouldn’t mums receive the same level of development as they do in their careers?
The app is beautiful, respectful and helpful- just like a book. Kite users receive daily notes, with achievable activities- based on the program they choose. Because small steps lead to big changes.
Programs within the app include- reconnecting in your relationship, sleep, stress management, dealing with mum guilt, juggling work and family and budgeting. 14 in total. All to be explored at the users own pace- their own individual journey. (All for the one of price of a paperback book).
Hannah Lives in Christchurch, NZ with her husband and two children- Alice (5) and Henry (2). Hannah has a background in Human Resources, having worked within a range of industries for the past 13 years, specifically focusing on change management and leadership development. She also has a degree in psychology.
